Board members noted bidders were within 1 percent of one another and that Union Corner reduced its price by about $60,000 on the rebid.
The board member who moved the approval asked for the vote; all three directors present voted yes and the motion passed 3-0. The contract follows the district’s capital levy plan and is scheduled to move forward under standard procurement and contracting procedures. The board did not expand on the project timeline at the meeting; staff previously indicated related site work and permitting phases will follow procurement and award.
