Jamie Luke told the board the swim team has about 72 swimmers from roughly 58 families and estimated that roughly half of those swimmers are town residents; Selectboard members discussed the pool's recurring operating deficit and the equity of discounted access for nonresidents. Beattie noted that the pool is subsidized by town taxes: “The pool is a big loss all by itself,” he said. The board asked staff to review overall fee structures for recreation and consider additional nonmember-family options.
