Manchester DRB elects officers, approves June minutes
Summary
At its July 1 meeting the Manchester Development Review Board elected Tim Waker chair, Mary Shoener vice chair and Eileen Braheney secretary and approved minutes from June 3, 2026. All motions carried unanimously, and staff recorded attendance and procedural housekeeping before hearings.
The Town of Manchester Development Review Board convened July 1 in the Kilburn Meeting Room and carried three unanimous procedural votes to set leadership for the year.
John Watanabe nominated Tim Waker for chair; the nomination was seconded by Robert Shortsleeve and approved 5-0. Watanabe also nominated Mary Shoener for vice chair (seconded by Eileen Braheney) and Eileen Braheney for secretary (seconded by Shortsleeve); both motions carried 5-0. Zoning Administrator Peter Brabazon called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., and Assistant Zoning Administrator Elias Schroeder initiated the Zoom recording.
The board then considered the minutes of the June 3, 2026 meeting. Watanabe moved to approve the minutes “as written”; the motion, seconded by Shortsleeve, was approved 5-0. With officers in place and minutes approved, the board moved to the evening’s hearings and agenda items.
