Selectboard Chair Ivan Beattie reviewed the history of sidewalk dining and the board discussed how use of Town sidewalks for dining affects pedestrian traffic. Members said a more permanent and cohesive ordinance is needed.
The board formally asked the Planning Commission to offer comments and suggestions; the Planning Commission is scheduled to meet on May 12.
