The Town of Manchester Selectboard voted May 19 to approve three liquor-license applications submitted by local businesses. The approvals covered Earth and Sea, Inc. (Second Class license, 3757 Richville Rd.), Acropolis, Inc. dba Lola's Restaurant (First and Third Class restaurant/bar license, 4478 Main St.), and High Ridge Plaza LLC dba Cold Cow Creamery/Nipper's Café (First Class restaurant/bar license, 4645 Main St.).
Jonathan West moved to approve the licenses as presented; Laurie Kunz seconded the motion. The board voted unanimously, 5-0, to grant the licenses. The approvals were recorded as a single item on the board's agenda and took effect pending any regulatory follow-up and licensing fee processing outlined by town staff.
The licenses allow the named establishments to sell alcoholic beverages under the classes stated in their applications; the meeting minutes did not record additional conditions or public objections. Town staff will complete administrative processing and issue the formal license documents in accordance with Vermont licensing procedures.
