Auditor and commissioners allocate CVET funds to MVH Fund 1176; FIT recommended for County General

Auditor Diana Topping told the board that CVET (County Vehicle Excise Tax) distributions totaled $19,446.00 and FIT (Financial Institution Tax) distributions totaled $47,501.01. Commissioner CFO Stan Heil recommended receipting the FIT distribution into County General and placing CVET into Fund 1176 (MVH) going forward.
Commissioner Frank Loop moved to allocate CVET to Fund 1176; Jason Sharp seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Topping noted that if the board chose to keep CVET in County General no vote would be required, but the board opted for the Fund 1176 allocation.
