Public Works Director Justin Mermis told the commission material being placed on oil-field roads is running onto county roads and reported that Flatlander Dirtworks had not returned to crush concrete at the landfill. He asked for estimates to repair the Kawasaki loader and for written confirmation that roads in Wilson Lake Estates are private and not county-maintained.
Commissioners authorized staff to call Flatlander Dirtworks and, if it did not perform the concrete crushing, to contract Kansas Dirt Inc. at $14.00 per ton to perform the work. The motion, made by Duke Strobel and seconded by Dean Haselhorst, passed unanimously.
