The Watonga Board of Education elected Mayra Flynn as board president, Dwight McGee as vice‑president and Courtney Robison as board clerk at its regular meeting on April 13, 2026. The motions were approved by roll call votes of 5‑0.
Aaron Clewell moved to elect Flynn president, and Shawn Cox seconded; the motion carried with affirmative votes from Robison, Cox, McGee, Clewell and Flynn. Clewell then moved, seconded by McGee, to elect McGee vice‑president; that motion also passed 5‑0. A subsequent motion by Clewell, seconded by McGee, appointed Robison as board clerk and likewise passed unanimously.
The elections occurred at the start of the meeting after President Flynn called the session to order at 7:00 p.m. The board’s roll call confirmed a quorum of five members present: Flynn, Robison, Cox, McGee and Clewell. No member voted against or abstained on any of the officer elections.
The next scheduled items included routine agenda business, budget encumbrances and personnel matters.
