Gene Churchill, listed in the roll call as Public Works staff and who also reported for the Fire Department during the meeting, said the Fire Department’s youth program is starting back up and asked for the item to be placed on the next meeting agenda for follow-up planning.
During public comment Linda Churchill asked the board to appoint a village representative—possibly an EMS member—to attend ambulance meetings (held the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.) and vote on ambulance matters on behalf of the village, and to report back to the board. The board heard the request and indicated it would identify an appropriate representative and consult the ambulance organization on representative requirements.
