Selectboard approves three warrants and signs REI/VTRANS reimbursement paperwork

During its Feb. 4 meeting the Selectboard reviewed and approved three warrants: $4,204.86 (dated 01/28/2026), $1,128.44 (01/28/2026) and a ratification of Chair Peter Brzozowy’s signature on a $46,608.02 warrant (01/29/2026). Each warrant motion was moved and seconded and carried with unanimous 'all in favor' votes.
Pat Treckman reported that REI roads-inventory grant reimbursement paperwork was complete and that the reimbursement amount is $3,300 with a town match of $836. The board authorized Chair Brzozowy to sign the paperwork. The annual state roads mileage form — which showed no change in mileage or classification from last year — was also approved and signed for return to the State.
Why it matters: these approvals move payroll and payable warrants into payment and secure a municipal reimbursement for road-inventory work; the board also preserved Open Meeting Law compliance by deferring liquor-license renewals to the separately warned Liquor Control Board meeting.
