The Isle La Motte Selectboard approved Embers Garden's proposal for the East Shore ditching project at a cost of $71,050. Selectboard members said the contractor answered the Board's questions and provided a signed contract; because there were no additional bids, the Board determined an executive session was not necessary and moved to approve the proposal.
Board members indicated the email chain between the Board and contractor Frank Boyle from Embers Garden will be retained with project documents. Pat Treckman confirmed that the ditching work is on the lakeside of the roadway.
