The Selectboard addressed ongoing Town Office water-damage repairs and related kitchen maintenance at the March 4 meeting. Peter Brzozowy reported Liquid Stone agreed to add the janitor’s closet to the previously authorized epoxy flooring work for an extra $4,180 while crews are onsite; the Board approved the added expenditure.
Separately, Comstock Cleaning Services provided estimates to steam clean the kitchen exhaust vent ($1,850) and to clean the oven, stove and griddle ($325 if completed at the same time). The Board approved a combined $2,175 expenditure to have those services performed. Assistant Town Clerk Karen Brunner and Selectboard Assistant Donna Bohannon were assigned to notify the vendors and schedule the work.
