The Town of Isle La Motte Selectboard opened its March 4, 2026 reorganization meeting with oaths of office already administered to newly elected members. Town Clerk Vickie Buswell called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the Board elected Cary Sandvig as chair and Peter Brzozowy as vice chair.
The Board approved the current Model Rules of Procedure “as written” with an agreement to review and amend specific items at the next meeting on March 18, 2026. Selectboard member Joe Deller moved to approve the rules; Peter Brzozowy seconded and the motion carried. The Board also confirmed regular meetings will be held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Board members agreed to revisit the set of official agenda-posting locations at the March 18 meeting; current posting locations are the Town Office, the Post Office and the former Town Office, and the Board noted the former Town Office is difficult to access in winter.
