The outcome of the current Oregon legislative session and the pending federal lawsuit regarding educational funding will further shape the financial landscape." Staff urged the committee to submit questions via an online form so answers can be compiled before the May 8 meeting.
The presentation lists program priorities if extra funds materialize (K—2 ELA textbook adoption projected to exceed $100,000 and long-term maintenance), and describes contingenices for collective-bargaining cost-of-living adjustments that are contingent on increased state school funds.
