Veneta Park Board confirms logistics for community Easter Egg Hunt

The Board heard that the Easter Bunny will arrive by fire engine at 10:45 a.m. to allow crowd assembly prior to an 11:00 a.m. start; the library will hold readings at 10:00 a.m. Kiwanis and Key Club will stuff eggs and sort books on Saturday, March 28 at 9:00 a.m. at City Hall, and Saint Vincent de Paul will provide books for distribution when they notify organizers. Kiwanis has also secured numerous baskets to distribute to children who do not bring containers. The Board asked that books be organized by age group, and staff indicated stickers and other small giveaway items were ordered and expected to arrive in time for the event.
Volunteer coordination and on‑site staffing were emphasized; members Ingram and Macklin and other community volunteers plan to participate. The arrangements are administrative and will proceed in coordination with staff and community partners.
