Anderson said crews reinstalled temporary meters on the supply line and performed heating and pressure‑relief checks while troubleshooting the system. Interim Town Manager Stan Foster asked for confirmation of costs; Anderson replied the $10,000 bladder is a baseline part cost and that additional work on the heat exchanger and exterior leaks will increase total spending. Council did not vote on funding or an emergency appropriation at the Dec. 9 meeting; staff said they will return with cost details and parts lead times.
