The Board approved a minor site development modification for the University Area Cultural Campus in the University Area (PRS application 24‑0536). Applicant planner Catherine Hartley told commissioners the change is 'very simple': the application removes a driveway and retains a building that earlier plans showed would be demolished, and the adjustments relate to parking and stormwater calculations.
Sarah Combs, CEO of the University Area CDC, spoke in support and framed the project as an anchor for community services and cultural programming. "Our community's cultural diversity is one of our greatest strengths," Combs said, asking the board to support the plan because it would expand inclusion, education and workforce opportunities in the Uptown University area.
Staff recommended approval and the board voted 7–0 to accept the minor modification. The approval leaves entitlements unchanged and adjusts only site development elements to preserve an existing building and reconfigure access and stormwater facilities.
