Board appoints Lisa Curry to Budget Committee ahead of April meeting

On April 10 the Vernonia School District Board of Directors appointed Lisa Curry to a three-year term on the Budget Committee. The motion to appoint Curry was made by Stacey Pelster, seconded by Amy Cieloha, and passed unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting the board discussed that additional Budget Committee applications could arrive before the committee’s first meeting on April 17, 2025, and considered holding a special meeting to review and appoint any additional applicants prior to that date. The minutes record that the first Budget Committee meeting remains scheduled for April 17.
