The Village of Lazy Lake Council voted 4-0 on Feb. 5 to ratify invoice payments included on the consent agenda. Councilmember Arnold Aliff moved to approve the consent agenda; Councilmember William Daugherty seconded, and the motion passed with four affirmative votes and one absence.
Administration clarified that the invoices represent checks that had already been issued and mailed and that detailed financial backup had been emailed to council members but was not part of the public meeting packet. The council’s formal action was limited to ratifying those payments rather than approving new expenditures. The motion was recorded as passed 4-0.
