Commission accepts AT&T update and approves vacation of utility easement for Mountain Falls map

The commission accepted late backup from the applicant and AT&T and approved AB-25-3, which would vacate portions of public utility easements recorded in multiple map files in Nye County to permit completion of a final map for the Mountain Falls planning area. Planning staff explained the additional AT&T comment updated earlier June correspondence and the applicant's representative, Rebecca Chiriboga of Britannia Engineering, said the applicant agreed with staff conditions.
A public commenter asked whether the late backup was available online; staff agreed to capture and make it available to remote attendees. The commission then voted to accept the additional backup into the record and approved the abandonment based on staff findings. The action was described as final by the PRPC unless appealed to the Board of County Commissioners.
