Assessing staff plan volunteer help for property-card scanning; Image Silo billing to be reviewed
Summary
Assessing staff said volunteers will be needed for tabletop scanning of varied-size property cards; Image Silo has transferred welfare files but the latest invoice did not reflect file reductions, so the Town Clerk/Tax Collector will wait to review until the June bill.

Assessing staff told the Record Retention Committee that the next phase of property-card imaging will require volunteer help because the different card sizes require tabletop scanning rather than standard feeders.
Committee minutes also note that welfare files have been transferred to Image Silo; the most recent invoice did not clearly show whether the billed amount reflected the reduction in files, so Elise Smith, Town Clerk/Tax Collector, will review the June Image Silo bill before approving payment.
