The Tamworth Conservation Commission introduced newly hired administrative assistant Britt Lagasse and welcomed Linda Medeiros, who is volunteering to become a full commission member and is expected to be appointed soon. Members expressed appreciation for Barb Bloomberg’s service; she will be moving out of Tamworth and the commission presented a signed card and bakery gift certificate recognizing Nelson’s 10 years as chair.
Commissioners also highlighted completion of the All Persons Trail north of Chocorua Lake, a project credited to Teresa Fournier. Members encouraged anyone with ideas for the Tamworth History Center front lawn brainstorming session to provide input to Chair Ned Beecher or Jeremy Phillips, who is attending on behalf of the Recreation Department.
