The Tamworth Conservation Commission unanimously approved payment of a $3,172.00 invoice to surveyor Jim Hambrook for survey work linked to the donated conservation easement from landowners O'Bryan and Aprille. Kit Morgan moved to approve the invoice; Jeremy Phillips seconded the motion and the commission approved it.
Commissioners indicated that further expenses related to the easement are possible: town attorney fees and recording costs were cited as likely additional charges. The commission plans to finalize the easement paperwork after the town meeting so the Select Board can sign; the town attorney has already added legal verbiage required for trustees who are signing on behalf of trusts.
