The council approved renewal of retail (on/off sale) malt-beverage licenses for Klaudt Service LLC, Menno Groceries LLC d.b.a. Total Stop Convenience Store #9467, and WWIT2 LLC d.b.a. Beer Garden. Ron Diede moved for renewal, Jacob Mettler seconded, and the renewals passed with all votes "aye."
Jerry Fischer moved to approve a temporary malt beverage permit for the Menno Baseball Association for game dates on May 7, 14, 21, 31, June 11, 14, 18, and July 3–4, 2026; the permit will also cover rescheduled game dates. Amber Cross moved to allow the Menno Baseball Association to sponsor a fireworks display on July 4 with members of the Menno Fire Department discharging fireworks near the baseball field; that motion passed unanimously.
