Selectboard hires engineer for river gravel removal, accepts pared-down Pike Industries paving bid

The board also accepted Pike Industries’ paving bid but reduced the bid’s unit quantity (using 9,654' per-ton unit cost rather than the originally bid 9,770'), resulting in less of South Street being paved; the town had budgeted $350,000 for South and Munger Streets.
