At the July 14 meeting the Commission approved several Sheriff’s Office items presented by Chief Deputy Arnold Butcher. The approvals included a one-year limited use agreement with WDSA, Inc. for use of the Davis County Shooting Range ($5,400 receivable); a $120,454.77 contract with Holbrook Service, LLC for a chiller replacement; and a memorandum of understanding with Wellpath, LLC to govern County access to CorEMR for identifying, managing, deleting and consolidating legacy inmate medical records.
Butcher described the Wellpath memorandum as establishing a clear framework for governing and managing legacy inmate medical records currently housed in the CorEMR database. Items 7–10 were moved and approved together (mover: Lorene Kamalu; second: John Crofts) with all present voting aye. The chiller contract lists a projected completion date of November 30, 2026, per the agenda item.
