Selectboard moves to close out SLFRF/ARPA access and declines an out-of-policy food pantry request; warrants signed

The Board said former member Joseph Parsons will be asked to complete the SLFRF (ARPA) close-out because he has access authority; the Good Shepherd Food Pantry requested $3,210 but the Board found the request noncompliant with the Social Service Appropriations Policy and will send a copy of the policy. The Board also signed payroll and payables warrants and rescheduled a meeting to sign the Town Meeting warning.
The Selectboard recorded that former member Joseph Parsons holds the access authority required to complete the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) close-out for the town’s ARPA grant and agreed to ask him to perform the close-out. The Board also received a letter from the Good Shepherd Food Pantry requesting a Town appropriation of $3,210; because that request does not comply with the Social Service Appropriations Policy, the Board will send the pantry a copy of the policy for next year.
In routine business the Board rescheduled the Jan. 28 meeting to Jan. 21 in order to sign the Town Meeting warning and postponed an executive session while signing payroll and payables warrants. The meeting minutes list warrant and payroll totals across several warrants as recorded in the minutes.
