Board Extends WEA Contract Through June 30, 2026; Full Negotiations to Resume Next Year

Interim Superintendent Trip Goodall explained that the MOA's scope is limited to wages and benefits for the extension period and that negotiations on remaining contract terms will resume after the start of next year.
Trip Goodall described the recent bargaining sessions as productive, saying they were "two of the best bargaining sessions he has been a part of," and noted that board members Neal and Tabbitha represented the district in the sessions. The board recorded the motion and roll-call votes; the extension was approved unanimously.
