Select Board follows up on 89 unregistered dogs, urges complaints go to Sheriff

Separately, the board discussed animal control complaints alleging dogs chased children on Shunpike Road. Mark Turco advised the complainant to contact the Sheriff’s Department — which serves as animal control — and said the Sheriff has previously issued tickets to dog owners in Mount Holly. Select Board members asked for additional specifics from the Sheriff about enforcement actions taken.
