Mount Holly board discusses $4,500 crack-sealing, salt purchases and transfer station staffing

Board members also discussed road salt storage and procurement. Woolley said the town can store about six loads but typically uses roughly 10 loads; he asked whether funds could be drawn from the current fiscal year to purchase salt in advance of winter. Select Board members asked him to obtain a price for six loads and follow up with vendors. The board did not take an immediate purchase action during the meeting.
