At its March 10 meeting the Mount Holly Select Board completed its annual reorganization, unanimously approving a slate of appointments and administrative designations that set the board's operating rules for the year.
Diana Garrow nominated Mark Turco for Select Board chair; the nomination was seconded by Jeff Chase and approved unanimously. The board also named Phil (Philippe) Crane as tree warden, appointed Ann Hansen as E911 coordinator, and reappointed Clinton Woolley as the town's RCSWD representative until a volunteer replacement is found. Other appointments included Faith Tempest as Designated Employer Representative and several assistant town clerks and treasurers.
The board changed the paper of record from the Vermont Journal to the Rutland Herald after Diana Garrow noted "many people do not receive" the Vermont Journal. The board set its regular meetings for the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m., and designated public posting places as the Town Office, the Belmont Post Office and the Oddfellows Hall given the closure of the Mount Holly Post Office. Diana Garrow was designated as an authorized signer for orders. All reorganization motions were approved unanimously.
