Baker said the Correct Equipment package includes additional ground microphones and a carrying case and is less expensive than alternative quotes that exceeded $6,700. He told the council that the system would improve the city’s ability to detect water leaks and that staff will bring final recommendations for equipment purchases to the Jan. 20 meeting for potential action.
No procurement action was taken during the Jan. 6 session.
