The Ridgefield Board approved a large personnel consent package covering separations, leaves of absence, new appointments, stipends, and transfers for the 2026–2027 school year.
Resolutions included acceptance of employee separations, approval of leaves (including FMLA and unpaid discretionary leaves), appointment of certificated and non-certificated staff (some pending criminal-history background checks and certifications), appointment of STRIVE program job coaches with listed stipend amounts, and lifeguard appointments for the ESY summer program. For example, the STRIVE Transition Counselor stipend of $3,500 and job-coach stipends ranging from $5,353 to $6,423 were approved in the consent block.
The board also approved a number of routine staff status changes and transfers of assignment and authorized Structured Learning Experience pay for specified staff at $30/hour not to exceed listed totals. Board votes recorded in the consent block showed widespread agreement; a handful of abstentions were recorded on specific personnel items.
Superintendent Dr. Anemone and Human Resources staff will proceed with onboarding tasks and any conditional hires pending successful background checks and certification verification.
