County health department OKs $486,649 DHHS contract amendment and $2,000 Tanner Clinic agreement

Brian Hatch, Director of Health - Community Services, asked the Commission to approve two health items: an agreement with Tanner Clinic for $2,000 to collect information to support chronic disease prevention efforts and Amendment #5 to a contract with the Utah Department of Health & Human Services valued at $486,649 for minimum performance standards and public health services for the coming fiscal year.
Hatch said the legislature appropriates minimum performance standards which are passed through DHHS to local health departments. Commissioners voted to approve both items unanimously.
