Selectboard approves office closure week and a personnel bonus following executive session
Summary
The board applied for an ACRPC TAC planning grant for a Main Street crosswalk, set a Town Office closure for Aug. 17–21, 2026, and after executive session approved a bonus for employee Peggy Connor for the week the office will be closed.
Under other business the Selectboard discussed a TAC grant application through the Addison County Regional Planning Commission to fund a planning study for a Main Street crosswalk; Chair John Roleau said he will attend the August TAC meeting to answer questions about the crosswalk application.
The Town Office will be closed the week of Aug. 17–21, 2026, the board announced. The Selectboard entered executive session at 8:26 p.m. for personnel matters, returned at 8:50 p.m., and on a subsequent motion approved a bonus for town employee Peggy Connor for the week the office is closed; the motion carried 5-0. The meeting adjourned at 8:53 p.m.
