At its July 21 meeting the Selectboard approved several routine financial and administrative actions. On motions recorded in the minutes the board voted 5-0 to approve the pay order for the week ending July 21, 2026, in the amount of $44,264.81 and approved payroll for the weeks ending July 11 ($5,506.96) and July 18 ($6,346.28).
Chair John Roleau moved to adopt the 2026 Town Road and Bridge Standards following a review by Road Commissioner Bruce Many; the motion was seconded by Marie Jewett and passed unanimously (5-0). The board also conditionally approved the Very Merry Theater application to use the town hall on July 31, 2026, pending submission of an insurance certificate and payment of fees and deposit. Separately, the board authorized a site access agreement to allow Stone Environmental Inc. to conduct an environmental site investigation at the Depot property; that motion passed 5-0.
The Selectboard approved the July 7, 2026 minutes (motion by Marie Jewett, seconded by Shauntell Barnum; 5-0). No budget-setting motion for the 2026 tax rate occurred; the board deferred the tax rate until more information is available from the State.
