Road Commissioner Bruce Many told the Selectboard that the new divider blocks for the sand/salt shed were delivered; the divider will measure approximately 70 feet long, 10 feet high and 2 inches wide, and blocks on the salt side will be sealed to reduce deterioration. He reported the grader has been repaired and will return to service after rain subsides.
Many said crews will be ditching along the New Haven side of Cobble Road as well as East and Munger Streets. He advised that cold patch material is currently unavailable because paving plants are not producing it amid higher fuel prices and supply issues, so the town plans to attempt pothole repairs using hot mix where feasible.
