Road Commissioner Bruce Many updated the Selectboard on public-works items: a new solar radar sign is installed on North Street, planned ditching on South Street and Hunt Road, crew training on signage, and the town hopes to receive a new truck by fall despite body-installation delays. Town Hall’s kitchen hood fan was temporarily repaired pending arrival of replacement parts.
Vice Chair Marie Jewett said the Development Review Board granted a waiver for the proposed Main Street fire station due to frontage and setback constraints. Steve Dupoise has agreed to approach VELCO about a possible boundary-line adjustment; Bruce Many moved, and Mike Audy seconded, to authorize Dupoise to speak with VELCO. The motion passed 4–0.
