The New Haven Selectboard closed a public hearing and unanimously approved the final draft of the town's Enhanced Energy Plan and directed that the plan be placed before voters on August 11, 2026.
Chair John Roleau opened the hearing, asked for public comment and, after receiving none, moved to adopt the final draft and submit it to the voters; Vice Chair Marie Jewett seconded the motion and the board approved it 5 yes / 0 no. Roleau then closed the public hearing at 6:51 p.m.
The action places the completed Enhanced Energy Plan on the August 11 ballot for resident approval. No substantive public comments or written objections were recorded during the hearing. The vote and date are the most immediate next steps for adoption; additional implementation actions would follow only if voters approve the plan.
