Commissioners approved an Amendment and Restatement of the 2025 JOMAC participation agreement during the June 16 meeting. Commissioner Matt Tippets moved to approve the amendment and Commissioner Randy Asay seconded; the motion carried with Tippets and Asay voting yes and Commissioner Lytle absent.
The minutes state the amendment seeks to increase the system’s capacity so JOMAC can provide services for new development; the record also notes JOMAC is not requesting additional current capacity funding but rather an increase in participation capacity. The file notes there are at least three participation agreements already in place.
