The Daggett County Commission voted to appoint two full planning-and-zoning board members and one alternate after the county's planning staff recommended a slate to fill scheduling gaps.
Chair presented three applicants—Joe Borthorpe, Stephen Wood and Donovan Alphen Jr.—and noted the board needed two full-time members and one alternate. Planning-and-zoning staff confirmed the recommendation and commissioners praised applicants' willingness to serve. A commissioner moved to appoint Borthorpe and Wood as full members and Donovan Alphen Jr. as the alternate; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The chair said the appointments will bring the planning-and-zoning board to a fully staffed complement, at least temporarily, and thanked prior board members and staff for recruiting applicants. No dissent was recorded on the motion.
