Nemaha County Hospital ratifies software and equipment purchases totaling six figures

At the Sept. 22 meeting the county ratified an emergency purchase of an Autoclavable Camera from Karl Storz Endoscopy‑America, Inc. for $12,812.30. On Nov. 24 the hospital board's recommendation to ratify purchase of a Viking Vdsc560 60" dual fuel range for $13,924.99 was also approved. The minutes show these ratifications were recorded by roll call and reflected as hospital‑board recommended items the commissioners formally approved.
The purchase approvals were recorded alongside budgeting, grant and claims lines in the county minutes, and the board repeatedly noted these items were recommended by the hospital board itself. The purchases collectively represent a significant investment in hospital clinical and kitchen infrastructure and in health‑IT systems intended to support billing and quality measures.
