Citizen reports Norcold sale; council discusses Community Reinvestment Act abatement

Citizen Mike Bowers told the council that "Norcold has sold to Rick Kremer from Ansonia," and said he planned to bring a 2025 goals sheet outlining 3-, 5- and 10-year goals. Council members said they were already aware of the sale.
During old business, Council member Dan May asked Bowers whether a Community Reinvestment Act abatement was still necessary given the sale; Bowers replied it was "still a good thing to have in place." Mayor Jon Michael Shives directed Village Administrator Jay Roberts to coordinate with the village solicitor to start the abatement process, according to the minutes.
