The Okmulgee Board of Education unanimously approved the district’s monthly encumbrances and expenditures at a special meeting Aug. 21, 2025. Leroy Parker, board member, moved to accept the consent agenda and Vickie Jones, board member, seconded; the vote was recorded as Aye: Mike James, Leroy Parker, Vickie Jones and Keith Baldridge.
The action took place during a brief special session called to order at 5:30 PM by Mike James, president. No members were absent and a quorum was established. The meeting adjourned at 5:39 PM. The minutes note the district’s caption: "Okmulgee Public Schools 'Preparing Students to be Life-Long Learners in an ever-changing society'."
