The board moved, seconded and approved the district financials and list of bills for March 2025 in a routine vote. During the financial report Tammy said the district’s nutrition program is bringing in more revenue but also incurring higher expenditures than were included in the adopted budget. "I need to come back and do a budget hearing in May... probably by a $125,000 is what I'm thinking," Tammy told the board, indicating staff will propose a supplemental appropriation to increase the nutrition fund.
Administrators also reviewed enrollment and ADM concerns and said the state’s May reconciliation and enrollment projection updates may affect next year’s budget planning. The board passed the motion to approve financials and directed staff to schedule and notice a supplemental budget hearing in May for the nutrition program adjustment.
