Resident asks about Madison Walk dormancy; township says plan remains active and will be phased

During public comment on May 26 a resident asked how long a subdivision plan could remain inactive. Interim Manager David Thompson replied that, generally, plans must restart after five years of inactivity but that Madison Walk (650 Englesville Road) has remained active and the applicant is preparing a Final Plan for a four-phase buildout.
Mr. Thompson said the township is awaiting that Final Plan submittal and clarified the applicant intends to proceed in phases rather than restart the entire approval timeline. "After 5 years they must start over," Mr. Thompson said when explaining the general rule for plan dormancy.
