Board holds executive session and approves retired-teacher employment and new hires
Summary
The Pawnee board convened an executive session under Oklahoma Statute 307(B)(1) for personnel matters, then returned to open session and approved employment of retired teachers and the hiring of Sierra Schupp as Agriculture teacher for 2026—2027. The board also voted to hire Sierra Schupp as the Agriculture teacher for 2026—2027; the recorded roll call for that hire lists Yes: Rapp, Higgins, Vance (the minutes do not list Waters in that recorded Yes vote). Earlier in the meeting the board approved assigning Jeana Bateson, RN and Meridian Technology Center Health Careers Instructor, as an adjunct instructor to teach Anatomy and Physiology for academic credit in 2026—2027.
