Elementary Principal Kellie Ehler reported that "The PTO gifted each employee a gift card at the end of the school year," and she thanked the PTO and custodial staff for their support. She said 13 students in grades one through four enrolled in a four-week summer reading program that began May 18 to enhance reading skills.
Ehler also noted two donations received this summer—one from Pawnee Tribal Development and one from the Rogers family—to be used for student activities and incentives. The minutes list the year's elementary awards and recipients, including Elementary Teacher of the Year Susan Keeler and other named student award winners.
