Campground hosts LaDawn and Ken Ripperda attended the Sept. 9 council meeting to update the council and request expanded administrative access in the reservation software so hosts could move campers between sites. They also asked for signage for the bathhouse and consideration of 50-amp electrical and water service upgrades on the campground's south side for future seasons.
Finance Officer Nicole Siemonsma told the council that "the internal controls policy states that the campground host is not to handle any cash, or online invoicing that requires billing modifications to stay compliant with the current Resolution." Siemonsma said billing changes made in the software can create invoice adjustments that affect revenue reporting and bank reconciliation. Councilmembers said upgrades are being discussed for a future date but did not approve immediate changes or software-permission updates at the meeting.
