Resident urges council to restore Terry Donelan Softball Field sign

During the Aug. 12 meeting resident Tim Donelan asked the council to replace the old Terry Donelan Softball Field sign that was removed when a new scoreboard was installed. Donelan noted the field was dedicated to Terry Donelan in 2006 and requested the sign be rehung.
Council Members Vogel and Hanisch discussed contacting a sign designer to give the old sign a face‑lift before rehanging. The finance officer (FO) said she would look into the matter and report back; no formal motion or timeline was recorded in the minutes.
